Der Wirtschaftsstandort Deutschland soll attraktiver werden für Wagniskapitalgeber. Dies wird seit Jahren nicht nur vom Bundesverband Deutscher Kapitalbeteiligungsgesellschaften e.V. (BVK) immer wieder gefordert. Neu befeuert wird die Diskussion um verbesserte Bedingungen nunmehr durch den jüngsten Entwurf des BVK für ein Venture-Capital-Gesetz, der unter anderem die punktuelle Überarbeitung der aktuellen steuerlichen Gesetzgebung vorsieht. Der Gesetzesentwurf ist sowohl als Kernpunktepapier als auch in vollständiger Fassung auf der Website des BVK abrufbar.

The "EY" survey provides an interesting insight into the activities of the German start-up and venture capital scene throughout the year 2014. It argues that German entrepreneurs are more attractive to international investors than ever before. Moreover, it provides relevant statistics (i.e. number of start-ups funded in the digital sector, volumes of VC funding in German start-ups) and shows the latest trends in VC funding (i.e. Fintech). The survey is worth reading for everyone who would like to get a brief overview about the venture capital activities and trends especially in Germany.
